This is my English Intro. This web-site project is for Newtown High School Honors English 2. My name is Tom and I'm a sophmore at Newtown High School. As a reader in English, I tend to not read. The only way yo get me reding a book is to make it demend on my grade. That is until I get into it, after that I can't put the book down. As a writer I believe I am fairly good. If I can get into a paper I usually have no problem writing. As a speaker I feel confident that I
can reach listeners with my words. As a listener I listen carefully to others, and as a viewer I mentally take notes and try to understand what I am seeing. My expectations for this year are a challenging class where I have no choice but to learn. My goals for this year are to get a comporftable understanding of html, to get a good understanding of the books we read, and get better as a reader, writer, speaker, and listener.
As a person I am a multi-dimensional person. I play football and basketball at the high school, and next year I might play lacroose. In case you haven't noticed I'm a wrestling fan, the entertainment factor of it keeps me very happy. If you don't watch it, you should. I listen to a lot of music. Rap is phat brotha, kiddin. If you haven't picked up the Big Punn or Jermaine Dupri CD's I highly recommend them. My favorite band is the Beastie Boys, so hello nasty. Dave Mathew's band is cool, and don't make fun of Shania Twain.
